Pescia Romana is a particularly attractive place by a naturalistic point of view, too.
Vulci, in fact, is few km away from it. In Vulci there is a beautifull WWF oasis, the archaeological park that extends in correspondence of the city and the necropolis; in the other part, towards Tuscany, there is Burano, Feniglia and a splendid sea.
Naturalistic and archaeological Vulci park is in a wild territory. Here it is possible to appreciate numerous naturalistic aspects: geologic formations, that are a testomonie of volcanic origin of these places, typical mediterranean vegetation around Fiora River and rare animal species.
Burano oasis, that extends on a territory of 1000 hectares, faces the sea: 12 Km of beach, in fact, delimit the oasis. Here typical mediterranean plants can be found. Richest flora is composed of 600 different species and fauna is characterized of 262 species of birds. Equally interesting by a naturalistic point of view is the reservoir of Feniglia Dune, in Orbetello territory, near Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole.
